We enjoyed a splendid 21-night stay in an ocean-facing suite, where the stunning views were just the icing on the cake. The staff, especially Miguel and Juanita, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Don’t miss the fresh ceviche at the beach bar—absolutely delicious!

I had a lovely stay with stunning ocean views from my room and a spacious layout with a full kitchen. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home during my visit. The private beach was a nice touch, providing a peaceful escape without the usual crowds. However, the room could use a bit of updating, particularly in terms of decor and fixtures.

Oceanfront views are breathtaking, with every room offering stunning perspectives of the waves. The snorkeling lagoon on the private beach is among the best I've encountered. perfect for anyone looking to explore marine life without venturing far.

Check-in experience was less than ideal due to being reassigned to separate studios instead of the booked spacious two-bedroom suite because of pre-known air conditioning issues. The noisy waves can disrupt sleep if you're sensitive to sound, and there's a strong push from timeshare sales that might exhaust your relaxation time. Also, the outdoor dining area occasionally smells like sewer, which detracts from the tropical ambiance. Coffee and tea aren't available until the restaurant opens, leaving early risers without a morning pick-me-up.

This place was just a fitting option for a trip in Puerto Vallarta with real value for money. The bellhop was always smiling and helpful, making us feel welcome. I'd suggest checking out nearby restaurants instead of relying on the on-site food.

the room was huge, and the view was spectacular! it really felt great to stay at costa sur resort & spa. the private beach had some loungers, making it easy to relax. the highlight was definitely the friendly service from edson, our waiter, who was always smiling and provided great advice.

Couple looking for a nice getaway

The view from our room was undoubtedly fine, like staring at a painting of the ocean, waves crashing. And it wasn’t just pretty to look at, we even saw whales playing offshore! The service we received from the staff was excellent, especially a waiter named Ernesto who went above and beyond, I mean, he was checking on us to make sure everything was great every day, that level of service is rare!

But let’s be honest, it did pinch the wallet a bit but nothing outrageous.

My oceanfront room was spacious with a shallow balcony that provided stunning views of the crashing waves, and I loved that there was a bus stop directly across from the hotel making it super easy to catch a quick ride into town to explore the Malecon and nearby Los Muertos Beach.
